Fall, Football, Family and Fun!

This past Saturday night we went to a Bulldog football game. We had a great time with Nanny, Papa, Aunt Laura, Uncle Trey and Brooke. We also celebrated Nanny's birthday while we were there! Before the game started we went to tailgate at the stadium. The kids jumped on blow up jumpers, ate hot dogs, ice cream and played! The biggest hit for Campbell was talking to the police officer with his sirens and lights flashing! Chance was really excited to watch the marching band! Emma Cate just loved running around in her new cheerleader outfit, showing off her missing tooth and running around with her cousin Brooke!

What's Missing?

This past Friday Emma Cate lost her first tooth! She wiggled and wiggled it until we could finally pull it out! Granmom (Brian's Grandmother) has pulled all of her kids, the grandkids and great- grandkids teeth, so I thought it might be special if she pulled Emma Cate's first tooth. We went over there and as you might expect, she was a pro! It totally made Emma Cate's day and I think it might have made Granmom's day, too! Our little baby smiled all day! She was so excited! We reached another milestone with our little toothless princess! What a joy it is to be her Mommy!

Mommy and Me

This summer Emma Cate's new dance teacher asked if the Mommies would attend a dance class with the girls. We all agreed and ended up having lots of fun with our babies. I just received some pictures from a grandmother who was taking pictures the whole class. We didn't know that it was really an audition for Cinderella! So as you guessed, all the mom's of the little girls will be in the ball in Cinderella. Just don't laugh too hard!

Weekend Madness!

Whew! What a weekend! We had a great, but exhausting last few days! Daddy was on call and Mommy was in charge most of the weekend. It all started on Friday with school for the older 2 until 12:00 then on to a picnic and playdate at the park and of course the Lobo football game. On Saturday Mommy went for a quick run in the wee hours of the morning, flu shots, birthday party and then off to Dallas for the evening. We had to call Grammy in for some help with the road trip! We went to the American Airlines Center for the Olympic Gymnastics Tour. It was an awesome show! Last, but not least was church day. Which included Sunday school, church, a trip to the pumpkin patch and ended with kids everywhere in our backyard. The last time I counted there were 12 kids in our backyard and luckily a few parents, too! Needless to say, I need to finish this post so I can go get some rest!!!

Revel

On Sunday we went to Shreveport to the Red River Revel. This has become an annual event for our family. We met Nanny, Papa, Uncle Trey, Aunt Laura and Brooke there for a fun filled day! The kids had a blast painting, digging in the dirt, fishing with Papa, building with blocks, getting their faces painted and shopping! At the end of the day they were really tired and dirty!!! I have also included a video of our little daredevil, Emma Cate, jumping high in the sky! We can't wait to go again next year!

Lions and Tigers and Bears, Oh My!

On Wednesday Emma Cate went with her Kindergarten class to the zoo. The parents were not allowed to go because we would be too distracting to the learning experience. They have been studying animals all month and mapping skills, so they were there to check out and apply all the things they have learned! Her teacher didn't know how much fun this group of parents really are! Oh well, since I didn't get to go with her I sent her with a disposable camera hoping to see what the trip was like to the zoo. I have blogged the pictures that she took. Thankfully someone took one picture of her or I wouldn't have even known what she looked like in her safari hat! Super Saturday

The Girls:
This past weekend the girls (meaning Emma Cate and I) took a road trip to Dallas with Grammy and Pops. Aunt Amanda was having a baby shower and we all wanted to be there. For those of you who do not know, my brother Chris and his wife Amanda have two little boys who are 5 and 2. They are expecting a baby girl, Kerrington Paige, in November. We were all excited to see Aunt Amanda, Uncle Chris, Paxton and Bowman. The shower was lots of fun and we went over to their house to let the kids play for a little while. The last thing we did was... we went shopping! We took Emma Cate to all of her favorite stores which include Libby Lu, Build A Bear and The American Girl store. As a special treat, we ate at the Boutique and Bistro there for dinner. We had a great time!
